Individual therapy is where you get to pause the performance. To stop managing and start understanding. Because when you start seeing your patterns, your story, your needs with more clarity, then real change starts to happen. And it starts with you.

My approach is insight-oriented. I’m not here to pathologize you. I’m here to help you understand what is happening inside and why
We look at unconscious beliefs that may be shaping your relationships, choices, and self-worth
We explore the patterns, stories, and survival strategies that may be keeping you stuck
I blend psychodynamic therapy with mindfulness, a systems-based approach that considers your relationships and environment, and straight-up curiosity
I help you slow down and notice what your thoughts, emotions, and body are trying to tell you
Together, we figure out the "why" so you can move forward with clarity and less internal noise

Who do you work with, and what kinds of issues can we focus on in individual therapy?

I work with high-functioning folks who look like they’ve got it together but feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected underneath. That includes professionals, parents, perfectionists, creatives, business owners, and caretakers. Basically, people used to holding it all together for everyone else.

In therapy, we can work on relationship struggles, identity questions, anxiety, burnout, grief (especially the quiet, daily kind), and the patterns that keep pulling you back. This is a space to see clearly, feel more, and build the capacity to live in a way that actually feels like you.

How do I know if therapy is right for me?

If something feels off, even if you can’t explain it, therapy can help. It’s a space to slow down, look beneath the surface, and understand what’s really going on. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck in patterns, or just not quite like yourself, therapy offers clarity, emotional relief, and real tools to help you move through what’s hard and toward what you actually want.

What can I expect in a session?

Each session is a conversation: collaborative, thoughtful, and filled with curiosity. We’ll explore what’s coming up for you, reflect on patterns, and look beneath the surface to understand the full picture. I’m not here to give advice or tell you what to do. I’m here to help you see what’s really going on, consider what different paths could look like, and talk through what might get in the way. Together, we’ll figure out what makes the most sense for you.

Sessions are 50 minutes - what is known as "a therapy hour".

How long will therapy take?

It really depends. Some people come in for a few months to work through something specific, while others stay longer to do deeper work. There’s no one-size-fits-all timeline. We'll check in along the way to make sure our work still feels useful and aligned with your goals. You’re always in the driver’s seat and you can pause or stop at any time.

Will we talk about my past?

If it feels relevant, yes. Your past often holds clues about the patterns, beliefs, and dynamics shaping your present. We won’t dwell on it just to dwell, but we may explore it to help you understand how you got here and what’s still impacting you today. Everything we talk about is at your pace, and only when you feel ready. I'm ride or die that way.
